Is there a minimum age requirement?
Classes ideally suit children aged 5-12. Since the classes are casual, we do have a mix of ages which range from week to week. Most children who attend are 5-10 years of age.
Where are the kids’ classes located?
West Beach Eatery and Patisserie, 1 Military Rd, West Beach (within the West Beach Parks precinct).
How many children in each class?
Maximum 18 kids.
What are my parking options?
West Beach offers free parking everywhere! During warmer weather there are more people so we advise arriving 10-15 minutes before class to secure a parking spot.
What should I bring?
All art materials are supplied.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
I can be contacted via email or Facebook. Please note that it will be difficult for me to respond after 9am on ‘art class days’ as I’m busy setting up and teaching but will do my very best to get back to you as soon as I can.
I don’t want my child’s face on social media. How can I prevent this?
I take photos of the childrens’ art and sometimes their faces for our social media pages. If you prefer for this not to happen, please advise by writing me a note via email or Facebook.
Can I have a refund?
As you can appreciate, The Beach Studio is a small business with limited resources so unfortunately we don’t offer refunds at this stage. If your child is sick or if your matter is COVID related, please send me a message via email or Facebook and we can look at rescheduling your spot and offering you a ‘make-up class’.
